Maintaining constant temperature can be a continuous problem. Keeping that temperature consistent across the work surface, even more so. Many laboratories require accurate, precise and constant heating or cooling, but conventional methods aren’t always effective. If you have used methods like ice buckets, water baths, thermal electric devices, heating blocks, or refrigerators you’ve probably noticed:

• The inability to maintain a consistent temperature over an extended period of time
• Poor or uneven temperature distribution across the work surface

Unique Design
MéCour thermal blocks are designed with a critical refrigeration path that creates flow-through turbulence. This unique patent-pending design allows them to maintain temperature to ±0.1 °C for extended periods of time uniformly across the entire plate in a working temperature range from -100 °C to +200°C.

Flexible and Adaptable
MéCour thermal blocks adapt to your workspace footprint and can be easily converted for use with multiple types of consumables. To create your format:

1. Select the thermal block that fits your needs. They are available in a variety of formats including single, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 positions.

2. Select the thermal inserts that accommodate the consumables you utilize.

3. Place the thermal inserts into the thermal block in the configuration that works for your assay. For example, in 96 deep-well plates, 384 conical plates or 8-channel reservoirs can all be used together in a block.
