“Since we have been using MéCour units difficulties with repeatability and precision have been effectively minimized and/or eliminated in our QC assays. This marked improvement is primarily attributed to the precise temperature control facilitated by MéCour’s units. Analyses are now performed directly in the Thermal Block. The efficient design ensures consistent incubation conditions that previously had required manipulation of the plate. The sealed fluid path design has reduced contamination risks, which was of particular concern for us with open water baths. We also find that the performance of the Thermal Block is a marked improvement over electric heat-blocks we have used. I recommend MéCour’s technology for those applications where precise temperature control, low maintenance and minimization of contamination risk are required.”
