New thermal tube unit that accommodates 96-1mL Tri-Coded tubes in an 8x12 configuration with an SBS-compliant base footprint. The unit will directly integrate with any SBS plate nest.  MéCour thermal blocks will easily integrate with any liquid handler with options for locating quick disconnect fluid fittings on either side or the base of the unit.

The unit provides maximum direct surface contact with all tubes. The unit is made specific to the actual tubes used. No universal, one size fits all design which is ineffective for thermal management of samples. Exterior insulation sustains and drives the temperature to all tubes. Tubes are recessed in thermal wells below maximum sample volume to ensure sample content is properly thermally managed.

As shown above, MéCour will provide a protective clear top cover that assists in limiting environmental impact and heat loss on unit and tube samples.  MéCour designs multi-sized tube capacities in configurations that remain within SBS footprint specifications if required. We also design this type of unit in any tube capacity or combination of different tubes from 6 to 1,000 tubes. Temperature ranges between -85°C to +125°C.
