The underside of this plate consumable has openings in between all of the wells that allow MéCour to insert thermal pins up and around all of the wells. Standard height microtiter plate will now improve well to well heat transfer via these thermal pins. All MéCour Thermal Inserts are made specific to the plate to fully accommodate the underside of the plate wells for maximum thermal transfer.

Eliminate “edge effects” and well to well temperature distortion and maximize end results of the assay. Any plate that provides these openings can be fitted to a MéCour Thermal Insert to significantly improve the thermal management of your assays.
